First Glorious Mystery

The Resurrection of Jesus

As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man, dressed in a white robe, sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here" (Mk 16:6-6).

Our Father, 10 Hail Mary, Glory be

Mary, Mother of all believers, help us to bear witness to the resurrection of Jesus by the way we live. May we be faithful in carrying out our mission of proclaiming, celebrating and serving the Gospel of hope, peace and joy in season and out of season. Now and forever.

Second Glorious Mystery

The Ascension of Jesus

"I am sending upon you what my Father promised; so stay here in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high." Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands, he blessed them. While he was blessing them, he withdrew from them and was carried up into heaven (Lk 24:49-51).

Our Father, 10 Hail Mary, Glory be

Cause of our Joy, we pray for all who suffer and are in difficulty: the poor, those without shelter, refugees forced out of their homes, and those who have no one to turn to. May the thought of heaven bring them a ray of hope and consolation. Now and forever.

Third Glorious Mystery

The Descend of the Holy Spirit

When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability (Acts 2:1-4).

Our Father, 10 Hail Mary, Glory be

Mary, Mother of the Church, you sustained the infant Church obtaining for her the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. May the same Spirit continue to defend her from all evil and help her to be a sign of communion in this fragmented world of ours. Now and forever.

Forth Glorious Mystery

The Assumption of Mary into Heaven

But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have died. For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being; for as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ (1 Cor 15:20-23).

Our Father, 10 Hail Mary, Glory be

Health of the Sick, we pray for all those afflicted with incurable diseases and those at the point of death. May the power that assumed you into heaven accompany them through this vale of tears to the bosom of the Father. Now and forever.

Fifth Glorious Mystery

The Crowning of Mary

A great portent appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pangs, in the agony of giving birth. And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. But her child was snatched away and taken to God and to his throne (Rev 12:1-5).

Our Father, 10 Hail Mary, Glory be

Blessed are you, O Virgin Mary, the salvation of the world came through you. Now you share in the glory of heaven in the presence of the Lord. Turn your eyes of mercy towards us and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. Now and forever.
